Jennifer Garner showed her musical side for a good cause on The Tonight Show: At Home Edition on Thursday night.

The 47-year-old actress spoke with Jimmy Fallon through video, each from their respective homes, due to the coronavirus outbreak.

She would go on to play the saxophone for Fallon during her appearance, which helped raise money for the charity Save the Children.

Garner revealed that her friend Amy Adams called her with the idea to help, 'kids who are stranded with school closures.'

She added that, 'between 25 and 30 million kids rely on school for food,' so she wanted to do whatever she could to help.

Fallon then showcased their website, SaveTheChildren.org/SaveWithStories as Jen opened up about her community which is, 'so generous.'

Fallon asked how her kids - Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and Samuel, 8 - feel about all this, and she said they're, 'big enough to understand' what's going on.

She said the hardest people to understand what's really going on are teens and kids in their early 20s, and those her parents age.

'I'm like, Dad, Mom, the world is shut down to keep you guys safe. They're like, We think we're gonna go to Sam's Warehouse,' Garner said.

Fallon wanted to end the interview by showcasing her musical talents, mentioning that she used to play in high school, when she brought out, 'Sally the Sexy Saxophone.'

She started by playing the Happy Birthday song, but Fallon improvized with the lyrics, singing, 'Happy birthday, wash your hands.'

He finished the song with, 'Happy Birthday and don't touch your face' as the musical portion came to an end.

Garner has a new movie entitled Yes Day in post-production, following two parents who agree to say 'yes' to everything their kids ask for one day.  

She is also attached to star in Fantasy Camp, following a middle school teacher who pursues her dreams to star on Broadway.

The actress will also return to the small screen in My Glory Was I Had Such Friends, though it isn't known when that starts production.
