Kids' Choice Awards 2019: Fun colors dominate the red carpet at the Nickelodeon event in LA
The red carpet for the Kids' Choice Awards kicked off on Saturday afternoon. And there was a wide array of colors, from red and orange to silver and gold.
The event, hosted by musician DJ Khaled, takes place at the the Galen Center in Los Angeles.
And the special performances are from Migos and Ally Brooke. Kylie Jenner and The Jonas Brothers are also supposed to make an appearance.

Feathered: There were long feathers all over the sleeves as she added tie-up gold and beige heels

Ariana Grande will be at the event as well as Adam Sandler, David Dobrik, Lana Condor, Caleb McLaughlin, Joey King, Noah Centineo, Chris Pratt, Jason Sudeikis, Paris Berelc, Kiernan Shipka, Josh Peck and Lilly Singh.
The cast of Aladdin will also be seen: Will Smith, Mena Massoud, and Naomi Scott.
And so will Shazam stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, and Jack Dylan Grazer.

In the pink: AC Bonifacio wore a satin dress with feathers on the hem and matching shoes
We're green with envy! Asia Monet Ray wore a neon green/yellow dress with ruffles on the bottom. Scarlet Spencer had on black and green with neon shoes
Dora‘s Isabela Moner and Eugenio Derbez are expected to be there as well.
Savannah May had on a lovely light blue dress. There were long feathers all over the sleeves as she added tie-up gold and beige heels.
AC Bonifacio wore a satin dress with feathers on the hem and matching shoes.
Ready for summer: Daniella Perkins had on a floral print bandeau top and slacks
Asia Monet Ray wore a neon green/yellow dress with ruffles on the bottom. Scarlet Spencer had on black and green with neon shoes.
Elisa Maino had on a peach, white, pink and maroon dress with a pink belt and beige shoes.
Khaled, a producer-DJ. said his two-year-old son, Asahd, gets excited just watching his dad in the ads promoting the show on Nickelodeon.
'When the commercials come on, my son is like, "Daddy, daddy, daddy!" Because, you know, he watches Nickelodeon. So do I,' he said in an interview Thursday.

'It's like, the commercial comes on every second,' he continued. 'And I'm like, man, they've got me looking good out here.
'My son, to see him smile and say 'Daddy! Daddy!' - it really touched me.'
Khaled will host the family-friendly, slime-filled awards show in Los Angeles on Saturday. He promises the show will have 'a whole lot of superstars in the building.'

Rap trio Migos are expected to perform and DJ Mustard will hit the stage. Ariana Grande, Adam Sandler and Chris Pratt are some of stars expected to make an appearance.
Khaled called hosting the Kids' Choice show a 'big accomplishment' for his career. Viewers may find less Khaled than usual.
He said he's on a weight loss journey, trimming down nearly 50 pounds. He said the birth of his son compelled him to monitor his health and become a better man.

'It made me better, it made me greater,' he said. 'The way I eat, the way I talk, the way I move, the way I think, the way I make music, the more patience I have, the more understanding what real love is, what real friendship is, and what my purpose is.'
Khaled's son, who appears relaxing in a swimming pool on the cover of dad's 2017 album 'Grateful,' is also the inspiration behind his 11th studio album 'Father of Asahd,' which will be released May 17. Khaled said his new album will reflect how much becoming a dad has changed him.
'Everything is about my son,' he said. 'It ain't about me no more. It's about my son.' He added: 'That's why I named my album 'Father of Asahd.''
